St. Mary Liturgical Ministers
Accompanists: Music ministers consist of cantors (song leaders) and accompanists (keyboard or guitar) who work together to prepare and lead music during worship. Instrumentalists, Kids Choir, Youth Choir, Guitar Group, and holiday choirs are also a part of our music ministry throughout the year.
Altar Server: Youth assist the priest during Mass. Open to children who have had their First Communion, and are 3rd grade and older.

Commentator: This minister reads the welcoming at the beginning of Mass, the Prayers of the Faithful, and the announcements.
Lector: A lector proclaims the scripture readings, the Word of God, during Mass.
Eucharistic Minister: Eucharistic Ministers distribute the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ during Communion. Eucharistic Ministers must be a confirmed Catholic.
Sacristan: The sacristan is responsible for setting out the necessary supplies for Mass, lighting candles, preparing for Communion, etc.
Usher: Ushers are ministers of hospitality. They greet parishioners and assist them in finding seating, collect the offering, hand out bulletins, and are at-the-ready in case any emergencies arise during Mass.
